Table Footprints, Seat Counts and Gazebo Dimensions

A dining set's seat count doesn't say how much floor space the table and chairs need once someone pulls a chair back to sit down, and a gazebo's roof footprint isn't the usable space between its own posts. This page shows the manufacturer’s own published figures for both, and says plainly what hasn’t been published rather than estimating it.

Dining sets

Tabletop footprint, stated seat count, shape and whether the table extends - all as published by the manufacturer, for every dining product in the range. Sorted most-complete first. A dash means the figure has not been published. A * marks a seat count that disagrees with another field on the same listing - see the note.

There is no “does it fit with the chairs pulled out” check on this page. That calculation needs a published chair depth, and the manufacturer states one for exactly 1 of the 8 dining products above - the HDPE 64 in set, 26.8 in - not enough to build a check that applies across the range. See that product’s own page for its own published chair depth. Table sizes above are the tabletop itself, not the floor space needed to sit down, stand up or walk around it.

One row above is marked with a *: the expandable textilene set states 8 chairs in its own title and productInfo.unitCount, but a separate productInfo field on the same listing says “6 High Back Chairs”. Not reconciled - shown as published, with the seat count used everywhere on this site being the one two of the three fields agree on (8).

Gazebos

Outer roof footprint (L x W x H) against the usable interior space between the support posts, per the manufacturer, for both gazebos in the range.

10 x 10 ft Hardtop Gazebo120″ × 120″ × 108″—
10 x 13 ft Gazebo, Wood-Look Frame156″ × 120″ × 110.4″—

Only the overall roof footprint is published for both gazebos above - neither listing states the usable interior space between the support posts, which is always somewhat smaller once the posts and any wall thickness are accounted for. Treat the footprint above as the gazebo’s outer size, not the clear floor space inside it. This is a separate calculation from the dining-set table above, not a shared one - a gazebo has no chairs to pull out, a dining table has no roof posts.

Sizing questions

Does a bigger seat count mean a bigger table?

Not reliably - two of the eight dining products in this range publish no table length or width at all (both are expandable tables described only as reaching 8 seats, with no length in inches for either state). Where a table size is published, it is the tabletop itself, not the floor space needed once a chair is pulled out.

Can I check whether a dining set fits my patio with the chairs pulled out?

Not from published data. That check needs a published chair depth, and the manufacturer states one for exactly 1 of the 8 dining products in this range - not enough to build a check that applies across the group. See the one product that does publish a chair depth for its own figure.

Why does one row have a * next to the seat count?

That listing's own productInfo fields disagree with each other - its title and unitCount state 8 chairs, a separate size field says 6. Both are shown; 8 is used wherever this site needs a single figure, since it's the one two of the three fields agree on.

Do the gazebo dimensions above tell me how much usable space is inside?

No - they're the outer roof footprint. Neither gazebo listing publishes the usable interior space between the support posts, which is smaller than the roof footprint.

Why isn't this section linked from the main site yet?

Only 1 of the 10 sized products in this range (8 dining sets, 2 gazebos) has a fully computable figure for the questions this section is meant to answer. The pages exist and are reachable directly, but the section isn't linked or indexed until enough manufacturer data exists to make it worth a visit.
